一、教学目标
1. Students can listen and speak the new words like dress and gloves.
2. Students can use the sentence pattern “Whose dress is this?” and can answer the question.
3. Students can develop their speaking, listening and cooperation abilities.
4. Students can develop students’ awareness of observing.
5. Students’ interests in learning English will be motivated.

1. Students can understand the new words and the content of the dialogue.
2. Students can learn to use the new sentence pattern “Whose... is it?” to ask questions and can answer it in their daily conversation.
三、教学过程
Step 1. Lead-in
Sing a song The party time with students together to warm up. Then the teacher organizes a free talk with students around party to lead in today’s topic.
【设计意图】唱歌的方式有利于激发学生的学习兴趣,自由谈话的形式自然地进入本节课的学习。
Step 2. Presentation
1. Lead students to listen to the tape for the first time with an easy question “What are they talking about?”. After that, check whether their answers are right or not.
2. The teacher asks the students “What are Helen and Su Yang talking about?” Then lead students to open the book and listen to the tape for the second time. So the sentences “Whose dress is this?”; “It’s my cousin’s” and the new words can be elicited naturally.
3. The teacher plays the tape again and students read the whole dialogue again following the tape for the last time and imitate the pronunciation and intonation.
【设计意图】通过盲听环节,掌握对话大意。通过再听环节,理解其中细节信息。教师设置问题,引出本节课所需要掌握的重点内容。通过跟读环节,再次加深理解,并提升学生的听说能力。
Step 3. Practice
Activity 1: High and low voice
The teacher reads the new words with students in an interesting way. When the teacher speaks a word in a high voice and students speak it in a low voice; when the teacher speaks a word in a low voice and students speak it in a high voice.
Activity 2: Act out the conversation
Several students in one group to play the roles in the dialogue. And they will act the dialogue out to practice the conversation. After that, the teacher will invite some groups to show their performance in the class.
【设计意图】通过大小声游戏和角色扮演的练习方法,来让学生操练今日所学到的单词与句子,以此培养学生的听说能力以及增加课堂趣味性。
Step 4. Consolidation
Task: Draw and Say
It is also a group activity. Students in one group draw different kinds of clothes first, and make up a dialogue according to the content of text. They should practice the dialogue several times, then act out the dialogue in the front of the class.
【设计意图】通过结组的方式来让学生有更多的机会去张口练习今日所学,做到了知识的迁移和内化。邀请同学们上台展示也增强了他们的表达能力。
Step 5. Summary
Students summarize what they have learned in this lesson, including words and sentences. The teacher gives some supplements if necessary, then reminds them to observe the life and use the new knowledge in their daily life.
【设计意图】通过学生总结和老师补充,让学生回顾今日所学的重点内容。除此之外,题型学生日常生活要善于观察,达到本堂课的文化意识目标。
Step 6. Homework
Lead students to practice the dialogue with their parents after class.
【设计意图】通过使用所学的新句子和父母对话,达到了巩固和练习新知识的效果。
